The Joker – 25" Medium-Fast Action Ice Fishing Rod Co-Designed by Shifty Outdoors | Wasatch Tenkara Rods
Introducing The Joker, a precision ice rod co-designed with Shifty Outdoors, one of the most respected ice anglers in the industry. Built for anglers who demand performance without compromise, The Joker blends elite materials, dialed-in action, and real-world testing into a rod that’s ready for serious hard-water days.

Crafted from solid Japanese Toray carbon fiber, The Joker delivers exceptional durability and crisp sensitivity, transmitting even the lightest taps while maintaining the backbone needed for fast, confident hooksets.

At 25" with a medium-fast action, this rod is perfectly tuned for aggressive jigging, quick strike detection, and controlled fights with hard-charging fish beneath the ice. It’s responsive, precise, and purpose-built for performance in tight quarters and fast-paced fishing.

The lightweight foam handle stays warm in cold conditions and provides a secure, comfortable grip when it matters most—keeping you locked in and fishing longer without fatigue.

After being pulled from release due to failed quality testing, The Joker is now back and better than ever, meeting Wasatch Tenkara Rods’ strict performance standards and ready to earn its place on the ice.

Backed by Wasatch Tenkara Rods’ commitment to quality, The Joker comes with a lifetime warranty and free replacement if the rod breaks while landing a fish—so you can fish hard with total confidence.
