Freedom, strength, power, and a healthy dose of rebellion are the essence of the Mustang. Designed by Steven Paul, the Mustang breaks the mold of conventionality, ushering in a new era of high performance predator swimbaits. And just like the American muscle cars and the ponies of the Southwest, the Mustang is adorned with colors that inspire. The Mustang’s color palette blends hyperrealism with a touch of the surreal, capturing not only the eye of the angler but, more importantly, the attention of trophy predators. While a picture is worth a thousand words, the technology encapsulated in the Mustang is a song worth singing. Inside the Mustang is Livingston Lures’ EBS Technology™, which produces the sounds of baitfish. This makes the Mustang the only predator swimbait that not only looks but also sounds real.

STEVE PAUL PRO TIP: Fish the Mustang around weed edges, bait schools, points, and suspended fish. Vary your retrieve speed and incorporate occasional pauses to let the oversized tail continue working while the EBS™ baitfish sounds call predators in. Many of the biggest fish strike immediately after a pause when the lure appears vulnerable and easy to catch.
