Advanced Multispectral Imaging with the RedEdge-P Dual Upgrade Kit

The MicaSense RedEdge-P Multispectral Upgrade Kit, combined with your RedEdge-P Dual, provides advanced dual-imaging capabilities. This solution is ideal for diverse applications such as vegetation classification, weed identification, environmental research, conservation efforts, and detailed analysis of aquatic plant life.

Dual Camera Configuration

Incorporates both the trusted RedEdge-P camera and the new RedEdge-P Blue camera.
Delivers high-resolution multispectral imaging and RGB composites for versatile use.

10 Multispectral Bands

Matches and enhances the spectral resolution of Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 satellite bands for superior data accuracy.

Panchromatic Band for Superior Resolution

Achieves a 2 cm (0.8 in) GSD at 60m (200 ft) altitude, ensuring clarity to detect subtle issues early for reliable decision-making.

Coastal Blue Band

Optimized for analyzing aquatic vegetation and identifying weeds in shallow water environments.

Narrow Spectral Bands

Enables detection of subtle variations in plant health, delivering precise, actionable data.

Double Calibration for Accurate Data

Equipped with DLS light sensors and CRP reflectance panels to ensure consistent and reliable data collection under varying light conditions.

Global Shutter for Distortion-Free Images

Maintains image integrity across all ten lenses, even in high-vibration environments.

Fast Capture Rates

Captures up to 3 images per second, supported by a 128 GB CFexpress card for quick and seamless data transfer.

Synchronized Imaging

Simultaneous data capture across all spectral bands, with geotagging and automated triggers to streamline workflow efficiency.

Optimized for Workflow Efficiency

Combines data from two cameras into a unified workflow, saving time and effort.
Compatible with various flight planning and post-processing software, including Measure Ground Control, thanks to its open API interface.

Additional Advantages

Satellite Data Correlation: Aligns spectral coverage with Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 while offering vastly improved spatial resolution (2 cm vs. 10 m per pixel).
AI Applications: High-resolution RGB and multispectral imaging supports advanced machine learning tasks like early-stage crop counting.
Comprehensive Outputs: Generates multiple outputs and indices (RGB, NDVI, NDRE, OSAVI, CIR, DSM, and more) to reveal details invisible to the naked eye.

Proven Performance

Manufactured in the U.S. under NDAA compliance, the RedEdge-P Series sensors have been trusted by academic, private, and government organizations worldwide since 2014.

Experience the precision and efficiency of the RedEdge-P Dual Upgrade Kit—unveiling insights that redefine the possibilities of multispectral imaging.
