The Icetamer Braid is expertly engineered to conquer sub-zero fishing conditions, making it the ultimate choice for cold-weather anglers. Utilizing FINS' exclusive resin-infusion process, this braid achieves zero water absorption, eliminating the risk of icing and ensuring top performance in freezing temperatures.

Icetamer is now available in 2 lb. tensile, providing the perfect balance of stealth, sensitivity, and strength. Ideal for cold-water finesse fishing where every bite counts.

Key Features:

ICE FISHING LINE THAT DOES NOT FREEZE IN THE GUIDES: A resin infusion process stops the braid taking on water, which is what turns ordinary line into a rope of ice by the third hole. Icetamer stays limp and running at minus 50 degrees.
BUILT FOR TIP UPS AND JIGGING BOTH: The 4 strand braid is thin enough to jig a small spoon on an inline reel and tough enough to sit on a tip up all afternoon. It handles wet hands, wind, and the trip in and out of the hole.
NO STRETCH MEANS YOU FEEL THE LIGHT BITE: A perch or crappie taking a bait under six feet of ice barely registers on mono. Braid transmits it straight to your hand and sets a small hook at depth, which is where most ice fish are lost.
MICRO DIAMETER FOR CLEAR HARDWATER: Winter water is clear and the fish are looking up. A thin, round profile keeps the line inconspicuous and lets a light jig fall naturally, instead of hanging in the water like a thicker line does.
KNOT STRENGTH AND LOW MEMORY IN THE COLD: Resists twists, wraps and wind knots when your hands are numb. Firm and round, so it spools cleanly onto inline, spinning, baitcasting and compact ice reels and comes off without coiling.
HARDWATER SPECIES: Built for perch, walleye, crappie, bluegill, panfish, lake trout, northern pike, whitefish, tullibee and cisco. Light tests for panfish and the heavier tests for pike and lakers on tip ups.
BRAIDED FISHING LINE MADE IN THE USA: FINS Icetamer is designed, engineered and braided in Erlanger, Kentucky. Choose 2, 4, 6, 8, 20 or 30 lb test in yellow, green, black or metered, on 50 and 150 yard spools.

Stay ahead of the cold with the Icetamer Braid—built to handle the toughest winter fishing conditions.
