Caddis – Elk Hair

A true classic, the Elk Hair Caddis is one of the most effective and widely used dry fly patterns in trout fishing. Designed to imitate adult caddisflies, this pattern is a must-have for any fly box.

Highly visible and naturally buoyant, the Elk Hair Caddis performs exceptionally well during active caddis hatches and as a reliable attractor when fish are feeding opportunistically. Whether you're fishing riffles, runs, pocket water, or stillwater, this pattern delivers consistent results throughout the season.

Its elk hair wing provides excellent floatation while creating a realistic silhouette that trout readily recognize on the surface. A proven producer for both beginners and experienced anglers alike.
