AVSS Drone Parachute Recovery System for DJI Matrice 4E/4T: Rapid-response safety for enterprise flight operations

The AVSS Drone Parachute Recovery System for DJI Matrice 4E/4T adds critical fail-safe protection for enterprise missions operating in sensitive, urban, or high-risk environments.

Designed to integrate cleanly onto the Matrice 4 Series without obstructing GNSS systems, it includes an autonomous triggering device, flight-termination module, and energetic deployment technology for fast recovery response.

With sub-0.5-second deployment and documentation supporting major aviation compliance standards, the AVSS parachute system enhances safety for public safety teams, industrial operators, and inspection crews.

Autonomous safety and deployment features

Sub-0.5-second deployment: Releases parachute rapidly during emergency flight conditions.
Energetic deployment module: Provides strong ejection force for reliable parachute launch.
Autonomous trigger logic: Monitors aircraft behavior for automatic deployment events.
Manual activation option: Allows pilot-initiated deployment using DJI PSDK interface.
Integrated flight termination: Stops propellers immediately for safe parachute opening.
Controlled descent performance: Reduces landing force using 3.80 m/s descent capability.
Minimal 149 g weight: Helps maintain aircraft balance and flight efficiency effectively.
Compliance-ready documentation: Supports aviation approval from regulatory agencies.

Rapid deployment architecture built for aircraft safety

The AVSS parachute system uses energetic deployment for parachute activation in under 0.5 seconds, ensuring quick response during critical events. Its autonomous trigger continuously monitors flight behavior to detect failures and deploy automatically, achieving an average descent rate of 3.80 m/s and impact energy of 9.88 J.

Operators may also trigger deployment manually through DJI PSDK controls. The integrated flight-termination system halts propellers instantly, clearing the airframe for safe chute expansion and controlled descent.

Lightweight, aviation-oriented integration design

At only 149 g ± 5 g, the AVSS Drone Parachute Recovery System for DJI Matrice 4E/4T minimizes impact on aircraft performance while delivering a robust safety margin. The attachment bracket mounts securely without interfering with GPS modules, and the electronic module powers both the Parachute Pod and termination system.

The complete package includes all required hardware and official documentation to support CAA, ASTM F3322-24a, and EASA MOC compliance submissions, streamlining regulatory approval for operators working in restricted zones or near people.
